A New Season, A New Home
Spring is a time of year that brings many changes: time change, more daylight, budding flowers and trees, and warmer temperatures. There are also many changes happening in our lives this Spring.
We are both quitting our current jobs to work full-time on raising support. We are also moving from Michigan to South Carolina at the end of May to work on raising support in the South. These are not easy transitions, but we know God will meet our needs as we look to Him. We can’t wait to see how He’s going to provide!

Support Raising Boot Camp
The last two days of March, we participated in a two-day support raising boot camp training in Charlotte, NC. We were inspired by the speakers, practiced and refined our presentations and phone calls, and made some new friends.
It was a wonderful learning and growing experience for both of us, and we came away very encouraged and motivated to work harder on raising support. As a result of the Boot Camp, we have moved our goal for raising 100% support from September to the end of July 2017. We would like to be on the field before the end of this year if God allows.

Church Missions Presentations
We’ve been privileged to share our ministry with three different churches over the last couple months: Eden Bible and Kingsley Baptist here in Michigan, and Iglesia Bautista Nuevo Amanecer in South Carolina. We have a couple more presentations scheduled in June at our home church in South Carolina, Suber Road Baptist, as well as Gospel Life Baptist in West Virginia, and we are working on filling up our schedule for June and July.

Individual Missions Presentations
In addition to our church missions presentations, much of our time and focus has been on sharing our ministry with individuals and families who are interested in partnering with us financially in our mission work.
We have really enjoyed getting to know so many people from our church especially, and we are so thankful for how God is moving many to partner with us!
Nearly all our monthly committed support is from individuals. Currently we are right at 20% of our monthly committed support. Slowly but surely, God is meeting our needs, just as He promised He would.

Missions Conference at BBC
We have been invited to participate in Bible Baptist Church’s annual missions conference this year from April 29-May 2. We are excited for more opportunities to share our ministry with our home church here in Michigan, and we look forward to fellowship with the other missionaries who come as well.

Prayer Requests
Pray that we would continue to trust God and work hard at raising support.
Pray for wisdom as we move and transition to SC in the coming month.

Thank you so much for your support and prayers for us! We can’t wait to see what God is going to do!

Your fellow servants,

Chris and Sarah Collins

Mexico, Here We Come!

Tomorrow morning, while you will probably still be sleeping, we will begin our journey to Mexico. Our first flight is scheduled just before 5:30 AM, and we will be traveling all day with two connecting flights before we get to Puebla, Mexico tomorrow evening. We found out today that the airline we are flying with (Delta) had a major glitch in their system a couple days ago with hundreds of flights canceled, and so we are hoping and praying that our flights will not be canceled or delayed tomorrow. Please pray with us for safe and timely travel and connections tomorrow, and for patience and wisdom should we have to deal with canceled or delayed flights. Please pray for our different opportunities while we are in Mexico. We will have opportunities to meet many missionaries and other contacts in the Puebla area. We will have opportunities to see a variety of ministries and places we can serve in the future. We will have opportunities to share the gospel as I (Chris) speak at an orphanage...

Puebla Bible Seminary The semester is over and most of the students are back with their families and serving with their home churches over Christmas break. This semester I had 29 students between the three courses I taught, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to teach them the Scriptures and the biblical languages. Group photo of this year's seminary students At the end of the semester, we had a time of food and fellowship with each class, and it was meaningful to hear all that the students had learned throughout the semester and how they’ve grown in their relationship with God and knowledge of His Word. We ended the semester with a fellowship of all the students and staff around a campfire, with games, singing, testimonies, and carne asada. I especially enjoyed hearing the testimonies of the students and what God has done in their lives. Collins Family Update Fall 2022

Always the Same One of my favorite attributes of God is his immutability—that he never changes. It is a great comfort to know that though our life circumstances change, and we ourselves change, yet God remains the same as he has been and will be for all eternity. Our new place of ministry and kind of ministry may seem less glamorous or exciting in some ways, but it is the same God that are continuing to serve, and he is the same God who continues to work in and through us for the glory of his name and the good of his people. He is the constant throughout all the changes. He is always the same. New Ministry Opportunity By God’s grace I (Chris) was called by a unanimous vote of the members of Antioch Bible Church of Mesick, MI to be their pastor on July 3, 2022. I am humbled and honored by the privilege of serving God in this new ministry. To be entrusted with the pastoral care of the souls of others is a weighty responsibility, and God has used this to draw me deeper into communion wi...
