The Journey Begins

The tickets are bought and the trip is scheduled! In just 5 short weeks, we will be traveling to visit Puebla, Mexico, where we hope to serve as missionaries in the near future.  During our 13-day trip, August 10-22, we have several goals we hope to accomplish. We want to see firsthand the place where we want to minister. God has already given us a burden to help especially with an orphan care ministry in Puebla. We would also like to see if there are other ministries besides an orphanage that God would have us be a part of there. Another goal we have is to get to know many of the missionaries in the area. The Purpose of our Blog

Welcome to our blog! We are Chris and Sarah Collins. We are about to embark on a journey that we've been waiting for all our lives. We are taking a trip to Mexico in August 2016 as we begin our Camino , or journey, toward becoming full-time missionaries to Mexico. We would like you to join us on our exciting journey! We chose the name Camino to Mexico in part because Camino is the Spanish word for journey (or way, or path), and also because the mission board we hope to go through is called Camino Global. We hope this blog will help connect you to our current and future ministries, keep you updated on our progress along the journey, and most of all that it would point you to Jesus Christ our Savior. And so begins the Collins's Camino to Mexico!
